Turn the Tables on Biden in the Debate

In the Presidential Debate tonight, President Trump should turn the tables on Joe Biden.

Do you remember the ridiculous question in the first debate asking Trump to denounce White Supremacy groups as if there were any doubt on his position? Trump has denounced them consistently and clearly. In fact, the question should have been directed at Joe Biden who has worked closely with KKK leader Robert Byrd in the Senate as well as other White Supremacists and regularly uses bigoted language. Trump, when he inevitably gets a question like that should not even answer it. Instead, he should point to his consistent record against racism, admonish the moderator for being sloppy by not referencing those statements, and tell the moderator he should be asking Joe Biden that question. Mention Joe Biden’s friendships with KKK and other racist senators. Reference Joe’s language such as “whether you are poor or white” and “there is little diversity in the black community” with respect to culture and political views. Trump needs to get even – not get angry. He needs to encourage Joe Biden to get more talking time to trip up, and then make a brief, calm, factual statement indicating how Joe Biden lied in his response and can’t be taken seriously.

The biggest issue, though, that has come up since the first debate is the evidence of Joe Biden’s corruption found on Hunter Biden’s computer. Joe Biden has not addressed the issue directly and has called the New York Post story about this a smear. He is counting on a friendly media including Twitter and Facebook to help suppress the story and spread disinformation about it being false. Trump should be ready to call Biden on this very strongly. He should have an affidavit ready for Trump to sign with a Notary Public standing by to officiate that asserts the following points under penalty of perjury:

Joe Biden affirms the following subject to penalties for perjury:

  1. There is no credible evidence that the computer in question referenced by the recent New York Post article turned in by the computer repair store owner belonged to Hunter Biden or was assigned to Hunter Biden by an organization he was associated with.

  2. All information on the computer concerning possible corruption, financial transactions with foreign organizations, and video files were not Hunter Biden’s data and were somehow planted.

  3. Joe Biden never met with foreign officials from any business or government while serving as a public official based on a request or urging of Hunter Biden when Hunter Biden was receiving financial compensation from that party.

  4. Joe Biden promises to the people of the United States and to the governments of the United States and all the states of the union that, if he is shown to be wrong in this statement, he acknowledges that he either deliberately lied or is insufficiently able to ascertain truth which makes him unfit to seek or hold any public office and will immediately stop seeking public office and immediately resign from any he holds.

Then he should push Joe Biden to sign the statement just as Joe Biden pushed President Trump to denounce the Proud Boys.

The statement and notary public should be right there so Biden can be asked to sign immediately. If he refuses, Trump and everyone else can dismiss Biden’s claims that the Hunter Biden computer story is a smear. If Biden does sign the affidavit, Trump should have a US Attorney on hand to demand Joe Biden come to his office for an interview the following day based on credible evidence already available that Joe Biden committed perjury.

It is time to play hardball with a corrupt, lying Joe Biden. Trump needs to get past the protection the media gives Biden. However, he must do so in an even tempered way without yelling or interrupting. Trump needs to let the facts speak for themselves and let Biden get tangled up in lies trying to avoid the facts. Trump needs to keep himself from being the issue and let Biden get most of the attention. Trump needs to make Biden’s corruption the issue and let Biden’s faults have the limelight in the debate. Trump can take the limelight back next week with press conferences and rallies, but he should let Biden’s defects percolate with the voters for a few days.

CPS Reform Proposal

CPS Reform Proposal Purpose: Improvement in accountability and cost effectiveness of CPS for the benefit of the public is the primary goal of this proposal. It seeks to allow this by privatizing the management of the CPS functions and allowing direct voter input for selecting the amount of services that will be provided by each contracting organization. By requiring voters to vote for percentages of business to go to each contractor, better contractor performance will result in more state business going to the superior contractors. By requiring each voter to vote for at least two contractors, we still ensure that other contractors will be in place to provide cost and quality competition. Time Frames: CPS will contract all routine case management work to 3-5 qualified independent organizations on a bi-annual basis corresponding to the election cycle for state legislators. Investigation work will also be contracted out to 3-5 qualified independent organizations on a bi-annual basis. ...

North Korea - Asian Bully

After confirming that North Korea made an unprovoked attack on a South Korean naval vessel and killed many of the crew, I think it is obvious that South Korea and the United States are being tested. It looks like this act of war will be unanswered which lowers the status of the United States in the eyes of most of the world. Over 7 years ago, I suggested how North Korea should be dealt with. Because the situation has deteriorated since then, more drastic action would probably be required to avert continued aggression by North Korea.

Bailout Blues

The government bailouts of various companies is pushing us toward socialism. The federal government has purchased equity stakes in many financial companies and is "investing" in GM and Chrysler as well. Given the notable financial successes of the federal government such as Social Security, Medicare, and the Federal Budget, I think that Congress and the President are the least well suited institutions to decide how to invest capital even if we accept that it is a proper function of government. There is only one government institution well suited to and experienced with handling financially distressed companies and individuals: Bankruptcy Court. Through bankruptcy, the financially failing companies and individuals can either restructure their debt or liquidate assets and discharge debt in order to get a fresh start. This would allow assets to be properly valued quickly and would allow the economy to improve again based on realistic valuations of assets. The bailouts simply pos...
